WHAT IS L’AMOURGASBORD?

The evening will include an amuse bouche of experiences: opening and closing women’s circles to drop in to the present moment, guided sharing and listening to gently connect with others, somatic practices and movement to invite presence and aliveness in the body, and beautiful sensory practices that awaken pleasure through the five senses. Everything offered is guided, optional, and held with care.

All practices are grounded in consent, safety and self-autonomy. Sharing embodied spaces with other women can create a sense of safety, aliveness and ease in the body and remind us of what's possible without pressure or performance.  You are always welcome to participate fully, take a pause, practice solo or simply observe. All practices are fully clothed.

So much of our connection now happens through screens and digital spaces. We believe in the restorative power of intentional pleasure – be it sensory, erotic, relational, creative, or nature-based – that invites us into being rather than doing. Intentional pleasure supports us to feel more resourced, resilient, and compassionate towards ourselves and others, something we feel is strongly needed at this time.

WHO THIS EVENT IS FOR

This evening is for 16+ women (cis and trans) and non-binary people who feel aligned with a women-centred space, who are craving a nourishing pause from the pace of everyday life.

It’s for those who may be feeling a little disconnected from their bodies, their pleasure, or their sense of aliveness. You don’t need any prior experience or confidence in movement etc.

You are welcome to come on your own, with your mother, a sister, a dear friend - or to gift this experience to someone who would truly benefit from an evening like this.

We understand that Mother’s Day can be a complex or tender time for people, for a variety of reasons. While this space is welcoming of mothers and daughters, including those who wish to attend together, the evening itself will focus more broadly on the energies of giving and receiving and of feminine nourishment and care. You are warmly welcome, whatever your relationship to mothers and motherhood - whether you are celebrating, grieving, longing, or simply seeking a space to soften and reconnect with yourself.

With a presence that is both soft and powerful, she weaves together a deeply considered approach to intimacy, pleasure practice, Tantra and embodied relating - one that integrates nervous system wisdom, trauma-informed care, feminine embodiment, somatic psychology, and earth-based ritual.

Her work is grounded, soulful, and rooted in lived experience including over 20 years of experience in movement, relational and somatic modalities, including contemporary dance, ballet, Tantra, tai chi, clowning, Qoya Inspired Movement, and sensual dance.

Through her work, Erin guides others into profound insight and embodiment, supporting them to come home to themselves, to each other, and to the earth.

  • Tess Fowler

Tess Fowler is a Clinical Psychotherapist, Tantra Practitioner, and Performing Artist. She is the founder of The Ember Room, a private practice offering individual and couples therapy with a focus on deep emotional work, embodiment, and transformation.

Her approach weaves together the clinical, creative, and somatic - drawing from her background as a psychotherapist, musician, and actor and her extensive experience practicing Tantra for the past decade.

At The Ember Room, she guides individuals and couples through the complexities of inner work, helping them build resilience, navigate emotional depth, and reconnect with their innate wisdom. Her strengths are in working with attachment issues, trauma, emotional overwhelm, low self esteem and over thinking. Her therapeutic style integrates psychodynamic and somatic therapy, creating lasting change through both insight and embodied experience. Her primary philosophy is that all behaviour is meaningful and can be understood - from understanding ourselves, change is then possible.
