Health & Safety Considerations of Session Work

Sessions may include body awareness practices, gentle and energising movement (such as shaking or stomping), breathwork, and emotional expression. We will always work at your pace, and I ask that you share any relevant health information so we can ensure the work is appropriate and supportive for you.

This work may not be suitable if you are currently experiencing significant or unstable mental health challenges, acute trauma or crisis, or medical conditions that make body-based or emotional practices unsafe. If you’re unsure, I recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or reaching out to me to explore whether this work is a good fit.

Scope & Limitations of Session Work

While this work can be supportive and meaningful, it’s important to note that I am not a psychologist, psychotherapist, or medical professional. I do not diagnose or treat mental health or medical conditions, and I do not provide trauma therapy or crisis support. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I may suggest working alongside, or being referred to, a qualified healthcare professional where appropriate.

If you have any questions about this scope of practice, you’re very welcome to reach out before booking at hello@erinfowlermovement.com, or by booking a complimentary 15-minute info call to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
