WHAT IS L’AMOURGASBOARD?
The evening will include an amuse bouche of experiences: opening and closing circles to drop in to the present moment, guided talking and listening exercises to get to know the group, somatic practices and dance to ignite freedom and aliveness to the body, and beautiful sensory practices that awaken pleasure through the 5 senses. Everything offered is guided, optional, and held with care.
So much of our connection now happens through screens and digital spaces. We believe in the restorative power of intentional pleasure – be it sensory, erotic, relational, creative, or nature-based – that invites us into being rather than doing. Intentional pleasure supports us to feel more resourced, resilient, and compassionate towards ourselves and others, something we feel is strongly needed at this time.
ABOUT OUR CONNECTION PRACTICES
All connection practices are grounded in consent, safety and self-autonomy. Sharing embodied spaces with other women can create a deep sense of safety, aliveness and ease in the body and remind us of what's possible without pressure or performance. You are always welcome to participate fully, take a pause, practice solo or simply observe. During the evening, you will be invited into practices exploring talking and listening, guided somatic movement, and sensual awareness. All practices are grounded in consent, safety, and self-autonomy. There is no nudity or genital touch at any of our events and all practices are fully clothed. You will not have to ‘pick a partner” or be picked for partner work for this event.

WHO THIS EVENT IS FOR
This evening is for women (cis and trans) and non-binary people who feel aligned with a women-centred space, who are craving a nourishing pause from the pace of everyday life. It’s for those who may be feeling a little disconnected from their bodies, their pleasure, or their sense of aliveness.
The evening offers a variety of guided experiences and you’re invited to engage with what feels supportive for you. There’s no expectation to do everything or to participate in any particular way. Being a taster, you can explore what resonates, take what nourishes, and leave the rest!
You don’t need any prior experience, confidence in dancing, or a particular way of being. If you’re longing for an evening that feels nourishing, playful, and gently enlivening, this space may be for you and we would love to have you.
Additionally, this event is also being held on Saturday 25th April for any and all gender expressions, to explore similar themes amongst likeminded community. You are welcome to come to both or if the ‘For Everyone’ resonates, you can find that event page here: https://www.erinfowlermovement.com/events-workshops/lam-apr-sat
We welcome all sexual orientations, gender identities and relational preferences to this event.
